API related Q & A

1. What is that API?

   That API thing is called an "Application Programming Interface" and is about an interface to upload and manage your videos and images at the sevenload.com plattform.

2. Who is the sevenload API available to?

   The sevenload API is available to individual developers and designers for non-commercial use. It is not for big business and not intended for anyone who wants to use the data provided through the sevenload API to make money. We offer special commercial services and licenses for that purpose, please contact us for further details.

3. How do I access the sevenload API?

   You have to register for an API key. Once we provide you with an API key, consult the sevenload API documentation and you are ready to go!

4. How can I use the content?

   You can access the content by your Application interfacing with the sevenload API. In short, you can use and display the content in new and creative ways, including combining our content with third party content. However, you musn't combine our content with any content that is obscene or defamatory or make any editorial changes to the content. See the Terms of Use for a clear statement on what you can and can’t do with the content.

5. Where do I go for help?

   You have already reached the appropriate place for a helping hand. Check out the sevenload API documentation, the sevenload API method index and its comments and the forum. If that doesn’t help, feel free to drop us a line at api@sevenload.com.

1. Is there any limit on how many requests I can do?

   There is also a hard upper limit, but in the interests of fairness, we ask that individual users use no more than 1% of the community's total traffic. If you think that you will use a greater amount of the community's transactions, contact us, so we can discuss how we can work together to keep you moving on.

2. Will the API change?

   Yes. We’re in the midst of some exciting developments at sevenload that will add new features and enhancements to the sevenload API. We’ll obviously be trying to minimise the disruption to your applications.

3. How will you advise me of any changes to the sevenload API?

   While we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your use of the service at any time, we will do our best to give you advance notice of any material change to or termination of the service via this site.

4. Can you guarantee the service will always be available?

   We'll always try our best to make sure the service is available, however we do not provide warranties for the sevenload API, and the Terms of Use also limit our liability.

5. How and why would my access to sevenload API end?

   We may deny your access to the sevenload API while we disabe your API key. We may disable your API key if, for example, you violate the Terms of Use . We know that most people will respect the service and use it in the spirit of cooperation and playing nice. But unfortunately there may be some who will try to use our content for their own commercial use or abuse the service to the detriment of other users. We reserve the right to make a judgement about what to do when we think that might be happening. If you have any doubts about something you’re thinking of trying, the best thing to do is to contact us!

   An Application is anything that you design, create or develop using the sevenload API.

2. What kind of application could I create?

   You could develop any kind of application you would like to. Your creativity and imagination are the only limiting factor.

3. What do I need to start developing an application?

   The development of applications isn't limited to anything than your programming skills. You only need an API key, which you need to register for. If your are loaded up with both of them you can jump in development head first.
